Shooting / Photographing high contrast flowers (Yellow & Black or White & Black) can present a challenge to your camera sensor and your exposures. Careful considerations of your settings are necessary or you may have a dark image, loosing details. I know many may say what is the best exposure for yellow, white or dark red flowers? I say a Sekonic 858 - best stated as an external exposure meter.  I carry my Sekonic 858 with me anytime I use a lens less than 200mm, please consider a Sekonic light meter for your photography bag.
